ABOUT TIM FORD

Canerdian.

Tim Ford is a mixed-race freelance writer and journalist from Calgary, Alberta. He has lived in Edmonton and Toronto and currently resides in Victoria.

Since graduating from the University of Calgary in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Minor in Drama and a Concentration in Creative Writing, Tim has written fiction, plays, and numerous articles for a variety of publications.

As a journalist, he has worked as a Digital Editor for CHEK News and a Staff Writer for Victoria Buzz.

His bylines have appeared with Beatroute Magazine, Avenue Calgary, CBC News, and the National Observer, and his fiction has been published by Tyche Books, EDGE SciFi, Neo-Opsis Magazine and more.

His writing focuses on politics, social issues, and science fiction and fantasy.
